Terms & Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Southern Luxe Detailing LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including bookings made through https://www.southernluxedetailing.com or in person at our studio. By booking services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

Section 01

Service scope

The Company offers professional services including window tinting, auto detailing, ceramic coating, paint protection film, vinyl wrapping, scratch repair, and paint correction. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any of these services at our sole discretion without prior notice.

Section 02

Payments, deposits & cancellations

Deposit requirement

  • A 15% deposit is required to secure appointments.
  • A credit card must be kept on file at the time of booking.

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the appointment forfeit the deposit.
  • If an appointment is rescheduled and later cancelled, the deposit is forfeited.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur 50% of the total service cost.

Refund terms

  • Refunds are not provided for completed services unless expressly agreed upon.
  • A full refund is issued if the Company cannot perform the scheduled service.
  • Disputes are handled through rework or partial credit at the Company’s discretion.
Section 03

Pricing & fees

  • Service prices are listed on https://www.southernluxedetailing.com or communicated by the Company directly.
  • All pricing is subject to change at the Company’s discretion.
  • A credit/debit card processing fee of 3.49% applies.
  • A standard shop fee of $4.99 is applied per service.
Section 04

Privacy & data protection

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Section 05

Your responsibilities

Vehicle condition

  • Vehicles must be in appropriate condition for the service requested.
  • Vehicles should be reasonably clean and emptied of personal items.
  • Excessive personal items left in the vehicle trigger an additional $75 fee.
  • Southern Luxe Detailing LLC is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
  • Pre-existing damage is documented at intake; the Company is not liable for it.

Maintenance requirements

  • Customers must follow the manufacturer-recommended maintenance guidelines for installed products.
  • Failure to maintain the vehicle may void the warranty.
  • Window tint requires a 3-day curing period — do not roll windows down during this window.
  • Ceramic-coated vehicles require hand-washing every 2–3 months.
Section 07

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Section 08

Governing law

These Terms and any disputes arising from them will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Section 09

Changes to these Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted on this page. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Section 10

Force majeure

The Company will not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or utility failures.

Section 11

Liability for damage

Service-specific liability limitations are outlined below. These limitations apply in addition to the warranty coverage described in Section 13 and on our Official Warranty Terms page.

Window tinting

  • Southern Luxe Detailing LLC is not responsible for any damage to the vehicle’s interior or exterior during the tint installation process.
  • Not liable for scratches to glass that may occur during installation.
  • Minor dirt or debris beneath the film is acceptable due to environmental install conditions.
  • Not liable for electrical damage on electric vehicles with known design vulnerabilities in their window systems.

Ceramic coatings

  • Not liable for imperfections or discoloration resulting from environmental exposure or improper maintenance after install.

Paint protection film

  • Not responsible for paint damage occurring during installation or removal — especially on repainted surfaces where bond strength cannot be guaranteed.

Vinyl wrapping

  • Not liable for paint or surface damage resulting from vinyl installation or removal.

Scratch repair

  • We do not guarantee complete or permanent correction of scratches.
  • Not responsible for scratch reappearance, color mismatch, or clear-coat burn-through.

Paint correction & polishing

  • This service does not guarantee a 100% flawless finish — results depend on paint condition, thickness, and defect type.
  • Not responsible for clear-coat damage that may result from the correction process on thin or previously-compromised clear coats.
Section 12

South Carolina tint laws

All window tinting services are performed in accordance with South Carolina state laws. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their chosen tint configuration meets all applicable legal requirements.

Legal tinting limits

  • Driver window: minimum 27% visible light transmission (VLT).
  • Front passenger window: minimum 27% VLT.
  • Side rear passenger windows: minimum 27% VLT.
  • Rear-most window: minimum 20% VLT.
  • Windshield: only a non-reflective tint strip above the AS-1 line is permitted.

All tint must be non-reflective and cannot be red, yellow, or amber.

Section 13

Warranty summary

The following is a summary of warranty coverage. Full terms, exclusions, and claim procedures are detailed on our Official Warranty Terms page.

Window tinting

  • LuxeGuard Pro HD: lifetime warranty (non-transferable) covering peeling, bubbling, fading, delaminating, and cracking. Does not cover scratches from pets, children, or improper cleaning.
  • 3M films: backed by the manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty.

Ceramic coating

  • Manufacturer (Owners Pride) warranties available in 3-, 5-, 7-, and 9-year tiers.
  • Minimum hand-washing every 2–3 months is required to maintain coverage.

Paint protection film

  • 10-year warranty covering peeling, cracking, yellowing, delaminating, and bubbling.
  • Does not cover environmental contamination or improper care.

Vinyl wrapping

  • Manufacturer warranty applies to the wrap film itself.
  • 6-month Company warranty on craftsmanship and installation defects.
  • Does not apply to damage from environmental exposure or improper care.

Paint correction & scratch repair

  • No warranty is offered on these services beyond proper completion at the time of install.
