Official Warranty Terms.
Effective April 2026 · Southern Luxe Detailing LLC
The following warranties apply to services performed by Southern Luxe Detailing LLC at our Charleston-metro studio. Each product line carries its own coverage terms, exclusions, and care requirements. Warranties are valid only when the vehicle has been maintained per the care instructions below and when the customer can provide proof of purchase or a Southern Luxe warranty card. All warranties are non-transferable unless explicitly stated.
Window Tint — LuxeGuard Pro HD Ceramic
Limited lifetime warranty on all LuxeGuard Pro HD Ceramic window film installations. Warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
What’s covered
- Bubbling
- Peeling
- Cracking
- Delaminating
- Fading
- Discoloration
- Any defect caused by the film itself
What’s not covered
- Damage from pets, children, or sharp objects
- Scratches caused by improper cleaning or ammonia-based products
- Physical damage, vandalism, or neglect
- Alteration, removal, or reinstallation by anyone other than Southern Luxe Detailing
- Legal issues arising from tint darkness outside South Carolina law (off-road use only)
Care instructions
Clean using a soft microfiber towel with soap and water or an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Recommended products: Sprayway Foaming Glass Cleaner or Stoner’s Invisible Glass.
Paint Protection Film — LuxeGuard PPF
10-year limited warranty on LuxeGuard Paint Protection Film installations — clear, matte, and color-change variants.
What’s covered
- Peeling
- Cracking
- Bubbling of the film (not caused by debris or contamination)
- Yellowing due to UV exposure
What’s not covered
- Damage from improper cleaning or lack of maintenance
- Physical damage — rock chips, scratches, dents
- Environmental contamination — bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, hard-water spots
- Use of high-pressure washers close to film edges
- Alteration or reinstallation by a third party
- Paint damage resulting from film removal, especially on repainted or uncured panels
Acceptable / normal conditions (not covered)
- Minor debris or contamination visible under the film
- Temporary water bubbles in the days following installation
- Slight edge lifting on tight curves
- Stretch marks or seams in high-stress areas
- Pre-existing paint imperfections
Care & maintenance
The customer is responsible for exterior upkeep. Wash the vehicle at least six times per year (approximately every two months). We recommend Owners Pride Car Care products and keeping the PPF protected with a ceramic coating, ceramic-based sealant, or high-quality wax.
Craftsmanship — 6-Month Installation Warranty
Every install carries a six-month craftsmanship warranty covering defects attributable to the installation itself, separate from the film’s manufacturer coverage.
Craftsmanship coverage includes
- Lifting
- Improper trimming
- Seam misalignment
- Installer-related bubbling
What voids coverage
Warranty coverage may be voided if any of the following occur:
- No proof of purchase or warranty card on file
- Alteration or removal by any third party
- Improper care or product misuse
- Repainting of panels after film application
- Environmental or physical damage caused by neglect

To file a warranty claim, contact Southern Luxe Detailing with the following information:
- Proof of purchase or warranty card
- Photos documenting the issue
- Vehicle details (year, make, model, VIN)
