- I take delivery from the Nexton dealership next week. When should I coat?
- Within 30 days of delivery, ideally within 2 weeks. We coordinate constantly with the 17A dealer row and can sometimes pick up directly from the lot for a coating install before you ever park the car at home. The earlier we get it, the less correction is needed and the better the coating bonds.
- What's better: the dealer's add-on ceramic package or doing it at your shop?
- Honestly, the dealer ceramic add-on is almost always a sealer or short-life consumer-grade product, not an installed ceramic coating. Service life difference is roughly 6 months versus 5–9 years. Owners Pride Pro is registered against the VIN at the manufacturer; dealer add-ons are not. We've recoated dozens of "dealer-protected" Nexton vehicles whose coating wore off in the first summer.
- How much does ceramic coating cost?

- How long does ceramic coating last?
- Real-world durability depends on the tier. OP-3 carries a 3-year warranty. OP-5 is warrantied for 5 years. OP-7 for 7 years. OP-Select, our flagship multi-layer self-healing coating, carries a 9-year registered manufacturer warranty and consistently outperforms single-layer coatings in real-world conditions. All warranties are on file with Owners Pride and are transferable between owners.
