- What is actually legal in South Carolina?
- 27 percent VLT minimum on the front side windows of every vehicle, and on every window of a sedan or coupe. SUVs, trucks, and vans with factory-tinted rear glass can go darker behind the driver, and windshield tint is limited to a non-reflective strip above the AS-1 line. It is state law, so the rule is the same in Hanahan as anywhere else. There is no separate city ordinance. - Will darker film keep the car cooler?

- No. Ceramic construction is non-metallic, so it does not interfere with GPS, cell signal, keyless entry, tire pressure sensors, or radio. Older metallic films did, which is where the concern comes from. Everything we install is signal-friendly, which matters more now than it did when that reputation formed.
- How long does it take, and can I wait?
